Lords Cricket Ground Allen Stand Outfield Reinstatement

Eighteen months prior to these works, Fineturf were commissioned to grow a purpose-specified ryegrass turf on a USGA rootzone at Tillers Turf, in readiness for installation on 29 May 2026.
On site, the existing turf was stripped off and 80/20 rootzone was imported, firmed, and compacted to the required levels. Custom-grown 25mm turf slabs, produced by Tillers Turf on a USGA rootzone, were then installed across 200m² to reinstate the outfield in front of the newly constructed Allen Stand, in readiness for the Rothesay Test Match between England and New Zealand, commencing 4 June 2026.
