Warwick School Cricket Pitch Renovation

August 2018

In August we worked at Warwick School to extend and renovate their cricket square. We extended the square by 3m which would provide the school with an extra pitch. The extended 3m area was excavated and lightly cultivated. The levels were set and the formation consolidated and laser graded. Bougton loam was supplied and spread onto the extension. This loam was accurately laser graded, in layers, to give a consolidated depth of 100mm.

The existing square was lightly cultivated and Boughton loam ameliorated into the surface to provide an additional 10mm depth to the square.

The existing square and extension were raked by hand, 6:5:18 fertiliser was applied and MM50 seed sown.
