Tottenham Hotspur FC Training Centre Women’s Training Pitch Reconstruction

June 2026

Fineturf were appointed by Tottenham Hotspur to carry out a full reconstruction of the Women’s training pitch at Hotspur Way, combining renovation works with the installation of stitched hybrid technology to deliver a high-performance playing surface.

Works began with the removal of the existing upper rootzone using a Koro Field Topmaker, before the remaining material was cultivated to prepare the profile for reconstruction. The pitch was then laser graded to ensure a true, level surface.

100mm of new upper rootzone, a 90/10 sand-soil mix, was applied and laser graded to fine tolerances, with soil amendments incorporated to optimise the new growing medium.

The pitch was then stitched using Limonta Sport Verdemix stitched hybrid technology, installed in a 2cm x 2cm pattern at a depth of 180mm, reinforcing the rootzone and providing the durability and stability required for an intensive training schedule.

To complete the reconstruction, a pre-seed fertiliser was applied before the surface was sown with a bespoke DLF Amenity grass seed mix, setting the foundation for a resilient, high-quality playing surface for the Tottenham Hotspur Women’s squad.
