Rothley Bowls Club Resurfacing and Levelling Works

We removed the existing turf, thatch and slime, loading and removing it from site. The existing rootzone was thoroughly cultivated, levels set, and the green laser graded. We then imported free-draining sports sand and applied it evenly over the green surface, ameliorating it in to a depth of approximately 75mm, before laser grading again. A 6-5-18 fertiliser was applied at 35 grams per square metre, and MM10 amenity grass seed sown at 70 grams per square metre. A final hand rake was carried out on completion, leaving the site clean and tidy.
