Warwick Racecourse Drainage Installation

In early September Fineturf were privileged to add Warwick to our ever growing list of racecourse clients. The project included the installation of lateral drainage alongside a border fence and the installation of main and lateral drainage on the back straight.

All drainage trenches were excavated with a Shelton Wheel, the main drains to a depth of 550mm and the lateral drains 450mm. Perforated drainage pipe was laid and the trenches backfilled with gravel and sand. Finally, the drainage lines were seeded with Limagrain MM60.
