Tealby Bowls Club Timber Edging Replacement

November 2013

On a recent visit to Tealby Bowls Club we repaired the green perimeter which had began to sink into the bowling channels. The issue had arisen due to the rotting timber edging in the channels. A 1.2m border was turf cut around the green and the old timber edging removed. The new edging was installed using laser guided equipment. This ensured our operatives had an accurate level to work from when reinstating the sunken areas of the green with rootzone. Final preparation was carried out with hand rakes and Tillers greens turf on soil installed.
