In October Fineturf visited Tyrrells Wood Golf Club in Surrey to reconstruct two tees on the unique parkland course. During the project both tees were lowered which allowed for an extension to the overall areas. Golf buggy paths were also moved towards the adjacent forest.
The existing turf and topsoil was stripped with the latter stockpiled for reuse later in the project. The tees were extended and the new formation laser levelled prior to re-importation of the topsoil. The irrigation pipes were then reinstalled, running alongside each tee prior to be laser levelled again. Pre turf fertiliser was applied and a rye fescue turf installed, Arena Bargold.
