Brigg Cricket Club Square Renovation

August 2014

The month of August is always busy for Fineturf and our cricket renovations and this year was no different as a recent visit to a cricket square in Brigg demonstrates. The existing square was removed and the area cultivated prior to laser grading the surface. A 20mm layer of loam was applied, the surface cultivated and following this an additional 60mm layer of loam was applied. The square was once again laser graded to ensure accurate levels. As with all cricket square work final ground preparation was carried out by hand. 6:5:18 fertiliser applied and the new surface sown with Limagrain MM50 at 70gm2.
