In May 2011 Fineturf completed the annual renovation of Notts County FC’s first team pitch. The work involved removing the existing surface, rotavating and power harrowing, fibre sand spreading, final ground preparation and surface installation with Limagrain MM60 sports grass seed. 9 weeks after the renovation work had been completed Fineturf visited Notts County to meet with Gregg Smith, head groundsman, to see the results. Gregg Smith discusses the project:
