Fineturf have added to their bowling green portfolio through the construction of a green in Dumfries, Scotland. The old turf was removed and the surface laser graded. Following this, 50 tonnes of rootzone was spread and ameliorated into the existing growing medium using a Blecavator. The bowling green was then drained with laterals set at 5m centres which had 80mm pipe installed and were backfilled with drainage gravel and rootzone. The green was then laser graded, prepped by hand and had Tillers Greens Turf Grown on Topsoil installed.
